The main page of Theta Fleet can't keep all the news, so we archive it here. This has all the news from January 2019 on. (There is far too much from 2010 to 2018 to copy over. Sorry.)

Bronze: USS Sun Tzu & USS Ontario

WRITER OF THE MONTH

Task Force 23: Calypso: Daniel Rye.

The new Marine CO is a great writer who plays a competent  and dedicated Marine. He will be a great addition to the crew.

Area 51: SB109:  CF, as Qaraq and Criswell Sandbags,

For keeping things lively during various posts that he didn’t necessarily start: “Tetraball from the Sky Box” and “Criswell and Purulence’s Excellent Breakfast” and the poker game posts.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Task Force 23: Midway: Lt. Azrel Vox (Jamie)

Since joining Jamie has contributed a greatly to a wide range of character development throughout the sim. Always up for a post and always quick in responses. It is particularly interesting how he has taken it upon himself to flesh out the Trill race during the 2260's.

Area 51: Sun Tzu: Lieutenant Henry Mellon

For helping me bring the technology used on the Sun Tzu up-to-date  and for a set of posts, only one of which has been posted, where he's giving the Captain a tour of the ship (and providing everyone with a very thorough explanation of how things look/work).

Task Force 23: Cavalier: "Bridge Training: Distress Call (Part III)"  (https://cavalier.sim-station.net/index. ... iewpost/25)

Second Quarter Fleet Awards

TASK FORCE 23:

            SIM of the QUARTER: Cavalier

The cadets are flawed and unsure of themselves, as they should be. Even the cadet put in command doesn't think he's the right person for the job. The players write solid, believable characters and the posts are engaging.

CO of the QUARTER: Midway: Tristan Faust

Not everyone enjoys a TOS sim, but the captain has done an excellent job of building a solid sim and is well-versed in the genre. This helps him keep the players in the right timeline and help those who are less familiar with the original series. He is a great leader in and out of character.

XO of the QUARTER: Resolution: Antonia Stoffels

The CO has been dealing with problems in his life and it's been up to the XO to keep people writing.

WRITER of the QUARTER: Calypso: Stuart

Bela the counselor is committed to helping the crew with their mental health and the best way she can do this is to hug them and let them know they are valued. Even if they don't want hugs. She is endearing and exasperating, and a great character.

PLAYER of the QUARTER: Midway: Jamie

Since joining Jamie has contributed to a wide range of character development opportunities throughout the sim. Always up for a post and always quick in responses. It is particularly interesting how he has taken it upon himself to flesh out the Trill race during the 2260's.

AREA 51

SIM of the QUARTER: USS Defiant

CO of the QUARTER: No Way Home: Hale Stratton

This zombie invasion has excellent writers who tell great stories. From zombie hunters to people caught in a new and terrifying situation, the posts are a delight to read. The CO does an excellent job of keeping everyone on task and involved.

XO of the QUARTER: Standing Bear: Soral

The CO has been unusually busy with work, leaving the sim to the XO, who has risen to the occasion and helped keep the sim moving and the posts engaging.

WRITER of the QUARTER: Standing Bear: Linsey

Linsey has been as involved as the XO in keeping the sim active. Her writing is excellent and she is always there to do a post with someone or help move things along. She is an invaluable part of the sim.

PLAYER of the QUARTER: No Way Home: StarDuster

From the beginning. StarDuster has helped get the sim going and has written posts and "news" for the sim to keep the characters informed and engaged in the ongoing epidemic. He's an excellent writer and always willing to help where needed.
