WRITER OF THE MONTH

            Task Force 23: Thunderbird: Lt. Bartholomew Hale who along with writing a new character is also weaving plot points from before Hale joined the ship into an upcoming mission. And, as we're short a CMO at the moment, volunteered to write an ACMO. Love the enthusiasm and the solo posts!

            Task Force 42: Valkyrie: Nick, playing LTJG Rosaline Belikov

While Nick's character still hasn't managed to make it to the Valkyrie yet Nick has been writing behind the scenes. Not only on posts leading up to his characters arrival but multiple post with various members of the crew for after his characters official arrival. 

            Task Force 51: Ontario: Cynthia, who plays Madelyn, our chief engineer. When things got too slow, she decided to move them along by finding where the power source was. Then she added the trapped counselor so she could react to what else was going on in the post. She's been great about telling people what she wants to do and discussing ideas to get people involved.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

            Task Force 23: Sentinel: Lt. T'Vel (Kristine). Put out the most posts this month and all led to seeing her characters development among the crew.

            Task Force 42: Deep Space 5: Shane. He has great ideas and loves to brainstorm them with others. This month, he's bringing a branch of Neverwinter Nights, a club he created on another sim, to DS5, along with all the baggage and potential for chaos that involves. And if all goes well, a lot of the players will get involved.

            Task Force 51: Tokyo: Mikey - Lt Nyxala Valentine. Mikey's writing of our chief medical officer has been absolutely fantastic this month! The crew have all thoroughly enjoyed writing with Mikey, and his unique character. Mikey has not only produced off some amazing and very well written posts, but has been a driving force behind a lot of the events that’s has happened with the crew on the Tokyo.

This post between Ren (Chris T) and Slichez (Amanda Rose) is both heartbreaking and deep. The conversation belongs in the best of Trek when it comes to the sense of loss and going on after it.

            Task Force 51: Artemis: Bring Your Daughter to Work Day - This post lightens the mood of what is usually a somber sim. One of the crew members brings their daughter to the Bridge to meet the crew. The young girl seems to brighten everyone's spirits.

It's rare that a player will reach out to one of the fleet admin to ask that the CO be considered for an award. We, too, feel the CO merits this award. Congratulations!

He really has excelled in balancing the multiple narrative threads of the current mission. His organizational skills are evident in this mission (I've seen how the sausage is made) and he has this remarkable ability to ensure that every player's contribution feels meaningful and connected to the larger story.
